GALLERY <<start To be in the world, to be a world oneself, touching each other and melting into one another, keeping a distance and being separate, that's the theme of my artwork. I look upon myself as someone being on the road. I listen to the echo of my self as I search this planet earth on which I walk. Impressions from the outside form my inner landscape. Looking on things from the inside and the outside is the leitmotif of my creative work. The main interest always is to look upon the world consciously, conscious of the many layers of reality. On the one hand, I use material like paper, colors and textiles to create objects that have a relatively lasting substance. On the other hand, I create my own reality by performing. Video and photography combine, thus fixing a fleeting image and conserving it. The use of digital media allows to stop dead all emotions, temporary stimuli and the rushing by of time. Theatre in my opinion is a place of transformation. In my role as a set and costume designer I create room and costumes for transformation.
